Sidekik is now a mobile app for iOS and Android — with new updates

The Sidekik app is finally available for iOS and Android. The release brings several new things:

  • A follower system instead of a global feed: You can now follow the flights that matter to you — independent of club. The club filter is still there, but only for clubs you belong to. So you do not start with an empty feed, we already added your current clubmates as followers.
  • Privacy: You can set your profile to private. Your flight feed, statistics and personal flight feed are then only visible to accepted followers. For challenges your flights stay public.
  • Notifications: In the new notification centre you no longer miss likes or comments. You stay up to date when someone interacts with your content.
  • Focus on mobile: The web app will be reduced to the essentials — submitting flights and challenge leaderboards — so we can put the energy into the mobile app.
