Create your club
In the app, go to Community → Clubs, create a club and add a logo and description. It is free.

Pick the summits
Create a Peak Hunt, choose the period and place the summits on the map — with radius, difficulty and whether they count flying, on foot or both.

Invite your members
Activate the challenge and send the invite link to your club chat. From then on Sidekik scores every uploaded flight automatically.

The idea is simple: you set peaks or distinctive waypoints of different difficulties in your flying area.
The members’ job: reach every goal during the season or a set window — by air or on foot — and collect points, bonus points and badges.
Whoever has the most points sits at the top of the leaderboard. Let’s go!

It also appeals to members who would not join a pure distance ranking. And with automatic scoring there is no extra work for the sports officer or the board.

Questions clubs ask
What does it cost our members to take part?
Nothing. Taking part in club challenges is free for your members. The PLUS subscription for pilots is optional and not required.
How much work is the scoring?
None. As soon as a member uploads a flight, Sidekik checks which summits the track passes, awards points and bonus points and updates the leaderboard.
What devices do our members need?
A smartphone with the Sidekik app is enough. Members who prefer a vario, another flight app or a sports watch upload the IGC or GPX file, or connect XContest, Garmin Connect or Suunto.
Does it work for our hobby pilots too?
Yes. You set the difficulty of each summit and decide whether it counts flying, on foot or both. That gives every level something to aim for.
How do we book Club Silver or Gold?
Email us at [email protected] and we set up the plan for your club. You can see your current plan and the member seats in use in the app under “Show subscription”.
What happens when our club grows?
Each member add-on adds 50 seats. The app lets you know when only a few seats are left.
