Hike&Fly import from a Suunto watch
Sharing Hike&Fly activities recorded with your Suunto watch is easier now — thanks to the new Suunto import.
Follow these steps to set up Suunto import
- Open Settings.
- Find Connect with Suunto.
- Connect your Suunto account. An in-app browser opens so you can enter your Suunto credentials and allow Sidekik access to your activities.
- From then on you get a notification in the notification centre whenever a hike activity from your watch is uploaded to your Suunto account.
Important: Only activities whose Suunto type is “Hiking”, “Running”, “Trail running”, “Ski touring” or “Walking” can be imported at the moment.
Import a new activity
- When a new Suunto activity is ready to import, you get a notification — both as a push notification and in the notification centre.
- To bring it into Sidekik, tap “Import”.
- After the import the activity appears in the feed and is visible to you and others. Under the map, the Suunto logo shows that it came from Suunto.
