The club leaderboard
Who climbed highest this year? Who has the most airtime? Who walked up the most metres for a Hike & Fly? The club leaderboard ranks the members of your club, so a bit of friendly competition is always just a tap away.
You find a short preview on every club page. The full leaderboard, with all criteria and seasons, is available for clubs with a club subscription.
1. The Top 3 on the club page
Open your club’s page and scroll down to Top 3. It shows the three best members of the current year.
Tap one of the buttons to switch the criterion:
- Max. Altitude
- Max. FAI distance
- Total activities
Tap a pilot to open their profile. If nobody has flown yet, you’ll see No members in ranking yet.
2. Open the full leaderboard
Tap View all rankings next to the Top 3.
Good to know: The full ranking is only available for clubs with a club subscription (Silver or Gold). If your club is on the Free plan, you’ll see the message Club Subscription Feature instead. More info takes you to the club plans on our website. Club plans are separate from Sidekik Plus: your own Plus subscription doesn’t unlock the full club ranking.
3. Choose a criterion
At the top of the leaderboard you’ll find a row of buttons. Swipe sideways to see them all:
- Max. Altitude: the highest altitude reached in a single activity.
- Σ Distance: all distance added up.
- Σ Airtime: all airtime added up.
- Max. FAI distance: the longest FAI distance in a single flight.
- Max. hiking elevation: the most metres climbed on foot in a single activity.
- Max. flying elevation: the most metres gained in the air in a single activity.
- Max. hiking distance: the longest hike in a single activity.
- Total activities: the number of activities.
- XC flights: the number of XC flights.
- Hike & Fly: the number of Hike & Fly activities.
- Σ Hiking elevation: all metres climbed on foot added up.
- Σ Flying elevation: all metres gained in the air added up.
The values are shown in metres, kilometres, hours and minutes, or as a count, depending on the criterion. The list shows 30 pilots at first. Tap Load more at the bottom to see more.
4. Pick a season
The heading at the top shows the season you’re looking at, for example Season 2026. A season is a calendar year, from 1 January to 31 December.
- Tap the heading.
- Choose a season in Select Season.
5. Custom start and end dates
Clubs with the Gold plan get two extra fields below the heading: Start and End. Tap one of them and pick a date to rank any period you like, for example just your club trip or the spring weeks. The heading then changes to Custom.
To go back to a full year, tap the heading and choose a season again.
Tips
- Mix it up. Not everyone flies XC. The hiking and Hike & Fly criteria give the walkers in your club a chance to shine too.
- Use custom dates for club events. On a Gold club, set Start and End to your club trip and you have an instant trip ranking.
- Tap a name. Every pilot in the list leads to their profile, where you can look at their flights and follow them.
- No full ranking yet? Talk to your club admins about a club plan. They’ll find the details on our clubs page.
